What is the difference between Colocation and Cloud?

Colocation is where the customer provides the equipment, and the Colocation provider hosts it in their Data Center and provides the space, power, rack, bandwidth, etc. The Cloud, on the other hand, is not a physical facility/place, but rather software applications and/or hardware infrastructure available via the Internet. Each of these services enable customers to remain focused on their core business and eases their IT strain.
