The multinational banking and financial services company became active in the Middle East in 2008. eHDF provides a Disaster Recovery (DR) hosting site serving all of the banks branches including Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Dubai. This means that in case of any disaster, the users at these branches can connect remotely to the disaster recovery site which has a continuous backup of the data and can therefore ensure and maintain business continuity. With this project, the bank was able to achieve a virtualised environment by consolidating their infrastructure by more than 30% thereby reducing hardware expenditure and manpower required to manage this very specialized setup.
