Organisations across the Middle East are putting more emphasis on managing their security investments as they brace themselves for the prospects of increased vulnerabilities. Such vulnerabilities arise as organizations strive to meet internal and external customers’ expectations in a world that is more seamlessly connected than ever before, according to Yasser Zeineldin, Chief Executive Officer at eHosting DataFort.

Zeineldin’s comments concur with eHosting DataFort’s participation at the IDC IT Security Road-show, organised by the global research and advisory firm International Data Corporation (IDC).

Held on 21 June at Atlantis, The Palm, the event brought together global security experts to discuss business models of information security, IT security as a business enabler, optimising security architectures and security in a virtualised environment. Other topics included social media concerns, security as a service, security audits, data loss prevention and security in the cloud.
