Dear industry colleagues,

eHosting DataFort (eHDF) has had a momentous 2011 marked by numerous achievements and public accolades. We are proud of these accomplishments and it is worth noting that these achievements resulted in record financial performance and operational efficiency in-line with global benchmarks.

Partnerships with Security Lab, Forbes ME, Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority, Emirates Insurance Company, Novo epay, ING Investment Management, Al Hilal Bank, VoiceCash and Dimensions Healthcare allowed us to display our expertise in understanding and deploying technology successfully across various industry verticals based on clients’ diverse requirements and expectations.

eHDF gained industry recognition by winning the ‘IT Service Provider of the Year’ award for the fourth consecutive time at the annual Arabian Computer News’ Arab Technology Awards 2011. We were also honoured by industry stalwarts across three categories including ‘Best New Data Centre’, ‘Best Co-location Provider’ and ‘CEO of the Year’ at the annual Data Centre Strategies Middle East Awards 2011.

We launched a new service at GITEX this year offering customers an integrated Managed Exchange with Microsoft Lync solution (an enhanced communication and collaboration solution). In addition, we introduced a ‘Managed Dedicated Backup’ service which provides a cost effective solution to customers having large volumes of backup requirements. We also recently completed the 2nd ME Business Continuity Survey and released an in-depth report on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery maturity / trends in the region.

The survey included respondents from UAE, KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.

eHDF remained in the spotlight through its participation in leading industry events such as GITEX, IT for Government, Data Centre Dynamics and Data Centre Strategies. These events helped our teams interact with prospective customers from various verticals and showcase our unique capabilities as a leading managed services provider.

Internally, we enhanced our customer relationship management process by implementing a new CRM system and also conducted a customer satisfaction survey to improve their level of satisfaction thus ensuring they become our ‘best references’.

We are extremely excited about the year ahead. We will soon be launching our new Data Centre facility at the International Media Production Zone. This hybrid Tier-2 and Tier-3 state-of-the-art data centre is built using the latest technologies allowing high density computing and also provides business continuity seats to customers across the region.

We also plan to launch our Cloud Offerings by Q1 2012 including Managed Private cloud solutions targeting medium to large enterprises as well as a Lite Public cloud version for companies operating in the SMB sphere.
