eHosting DataFort in partnership with Double-Take^® Software, a leading provider of data recovery solutions highlighted the business case for Disaster Recovery(DR) at the recent IDC IT Managers Forum held in Atlantis Hotel, Dubai on the 22nd of June 2010.

The presentation focused on creating and implementing a DR plan for ensuring the availability of critical systems with real-time replication and failover to a managed disaster recovery site. It also gave some interesting insights from an eHosting DataFort industry survey in late 2009 which revealed that almost 70 per cent of the region’s organizations do not have in place a robust DR or Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme.
