CEO, eHosting DataFort

Dear industry colleagues,

Welcome to the first edition of the 2011 e-newsletter.

We are delighted to share with you that the first half of the year, for eHosting DataFort (eHDF), was marked by key customer wins, global certifications, launch of new services and achieving industry recognition. This positive trend continues to set us apart from the competition and we are grateful to our customers, partners, and dedicated employees who have all made this happen.

The announcement of our partnerships with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SPICA, JRG International, Jumeirah Group, FVC and Dubai World Trade Centre are some instances where we showcased our capabilities of delivering leading edge technology solutions to address a variety of customer needs.

We are very proud to announce that eHDF has become the first managed IT service provider in the UAE to receive the BS25999 certification for Business Continuity Management (BCM). This accreditation generates a sense of confidence amongst clients and stakeholders, assuring uninterrupted business operations even under the most disruptive circumstances.

eHDF also launched a new Remote Managed Security Service at the beginning of the year as part of the Managed Security Services (MSS) portfolio enabling customers to focus on their core business instead of monitoring and responding to security-related disruptions at their premises.

Winning ‘The Best Managed Services Provider of the year’ at the Network Middle East (NME) Innovation Awards is yet another highlight that defined the first half of this year. eHDF is constantly striving to surpass industry benchmarks and deliver the best services to our valued customers. The NME Innovation Award comes as a well-deserved validation of this achievement.

The days ahead look exciting for eHDF. Trends show an increased focus on implementing Cloud Computing technologies, and this was reaffirmed by the joint survey conducted by eHDF and ITP across the region. The outcomes are quite optimistic and augur well for eHDF. As such, we are planning to launch our managed private cloud offering by the end of the year.

We are looking forward to a promising second half in terms of major customer acquisitions along with achieving new milestones.

Thank you once again for affirming your trust with us.

Until the next edition...
