It gives me immense pleasure to share with you the first edition of the eHosting DataFort (eHDF) newsletter, an initiative that aims to keep all our valuable stakeholders aware of the latest happenings at eHDF in the year 2010.

As you may be well aware, the global financial crisis and liquidity crunch has enabled IT services to play an even more significant role for businesses today. It has encouraged customers to cut down on certain expenses and ‘make-do’ with existing resources and assets available internally. There is a greater emphasis on IT investments that boost productivity, increase business efficiencies and enable innovation without the need for capital investment.

As we enter the second half of 2010, organizations are increasingly re-adapting their business models to the prevailing economic climate. However, amidst this scenario, eHDF has accelerated its growth and I am confident it will continue to register a strong performance in the coming years. I am also pleased to inform you that eHDF continues to expand its impressive client base across industries and new customers added in the first half of 2010 include Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi, Dubai Cares, Ministry of Public Works, Fulcrm, Gets Pharma, Byte Mobile ,Adani Global and many more.

We have also forged a strategic partnership, with Double-Take Software^®, a leading provider of data recovery solutions, to extend comprehensive Disaster Recovery solutions to organizations across the region.

As part of our focus for the remaining part of the year, we will work towards creating more value for our existing customers and further strengthening our product portfolio so that our customers can focus on their core business.

New waves of technological trends in Virtualization and Cloud Computing are also on the cards at eHDF and we look forward to presenting you with new services that will further add value to your business in the long haul.
