Network Connectivity Services

High Speed, Fully Redundant Internet Connectivity

The Internet backbone of Dubai Internet City is redundantly connected to EMIX, the Emirates Internet Exchange. EMIX is the first Network Access Point (NAP), private or public, established in the Middle East & Near East region built on one of the longest STM-1 circuits worldwide in terrestrial and submarine communication. The channel between Dubai Internet City and EMIX has been provisioned to accommodate a capacity of an STM1 link. Upgrades are easily deployed within a short time span providing the utmost flexibility and capacities to Dubai Internet City and its customers.

Server Load Balancing

Server Load Balancing services are used for the dual server configurations to increase the performance and offload the servers from the extra load of software load balancing. Server Load Balancing features are:

• Provides load balancing and fault tolerance in case of server failure
• Two shared server load balancer devices are available in order to provide high availability and redundancy

VPN Services

Virtual private network (VPN) services are offered to establish a secure connection between the server network at eHosting DataFort’s Data Centre and the customer. This will allow server management and new content deployment. There are two services available for VPN:

• Client to Site VPN
• Site to Site VPN

• Firewall Monitoring and Management

Backup Services

• 10 GB limit for basic data backup
• Daily Incremental and Weekly full backup

Hardware Services

Hardware is provided with Managed Dedicated Servers Service on a lease basis. Ownership of the hardware remains the property of eHosting DataFort at all times

Software Services

We will manage the system up to the Operating System level only. Any application/website administration or deployment will be the customer’s responsibility

Remote Hands Assistance
