Network Connectivity Services

du’s network reaches a wide range of international locations and can meet the high volume traffic requirements of the world’s traditional business centres and the new growing economies. du is committed to delivering high quality global connectivity through new edge technology in fully redundant and diverse routes using either terrestrial or submarine cable systems.

The channel between Dubai Internet City and du has been provisioned to accommodate high capacity. Further upgrades are easily provisioned in a short time span providing utmost flexibility and capacity to Dubai Internet City and its customers.

Server Load Balancing

Server Load Balancing services are used for the dual server configurations to increase the performance and offload the servers from the extra load of software load balancing. Server Load Balancing features are:

• 1.  Provides load balancing and fault tolerance in case of server failure
• 2.  Two shared server load balancer devices are available in order to provide high availability and redundancy

VPN Services

Virtual private network (VPN) services are offered to establish a secure connection between the server network at eHosting DataFort’s Data Centre and the customer. This will allow server management and new content deployment. There are two services available for VPN:

• 1.  Client to Site VPN
• 2.  Site to Site VPN

Hardware Services

Hardware is provided with Managed Dedicated Servers Service on a lease basis. Ownership of the hardware remains the property of eHosting DataFort at all times.

 

Software Services

We will manage the system up to the Operating System level only. Any application/website administration or deployment will be the customer’s responsibility.

24/7 Service Desk Support contacted either through the Web, Phone, Email or Fax.

Remote Hands Assistance

Our staff will act as your “remote hands” during your unavailability.

Domain Name Registration and Announcement

We can register domain names on your behalf, subject to availability.
