eHosting DataFort Implements Advanced Operational Support Systems

eHosting DataFort, a member of TECOM Investments and regional leaders in IT strategy, outsourcing and managed services, has accomplished an operational milestone with the successful installation of the ‘OSS project phase I’ (Operational Support Systems).

OSS is a set of programs that facilitates a communications service provider monitor, control, analyze and manage a computer network.
The solution has been delivered by BMC Software, a leading global provider of enterprise management solutions, which empowers companies to manage their IT infrastructure from a business perspective.

The first phase of implementation included the installation of ‘Remedy’, a leading service desk application and ‘BMC Performance Manager’.

The ‘Remedy’ service desk application allows the eHosting DataFort operations team to record and track all open issues relating to the IT infrastructure being managed for customers.

The BMC Performance Manager pro-actively monitors the servers of managed services customers located in eHosting DataFort Data Centres in Dubai Internet City.
