Region’s Leading Managed IT Services Provider Offers Students Opportunity to Enhance Professional Skills eHosting DataFort (eHDF), the region’s leading IT services provider and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced it honoured 10 talented UAE national trainees for their remarkable contribution to the company through a vigorous internship programme. Driven by the students’ passion and ambition for professional development, the programme looked at creating a dynamic business environment that would nurture the student’s skills in the technical and professional field. The programme was part of eHDF’s commitment to strengthen and nurture indigenous talent in the UAE. Yasser Zeineldin, CEO, eHosting DataFort, presented the awards to the students studying for their bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science at Zayed University and the UAE University. eHosting DataFort is among the leading TECOM entities that recruit and train promising undergraduates according to human capital requirements and individual skills. Zeineldin said: “The entire team at eHosting DataFort is extremely proud of the under-graduates who have demonstrated their excellent skills. We are committed to further improving the competitiveness of the nation’s talent pool which we believe will eventually boost the quality of the local workforce – the knowledge base for the technology sector.” This year, eHosting DataFort has received more than 14 students for work placement from different universities and colleges including the Zayed University, UAE University, Dubai Women’s College and Dubai Men’s College. The eHDF team plans to additionally host road-shows in select universities and colleges in the region to further develop the enthusiasm and raise awareness on the managed services industry among students. Earlier this year, eHosting DataFort launched the Marifaty and Muthabara programmes, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative that stemmed from the vision of a ‘commitment to develop the knowledge base in the IT sector through targeting the local community and providing them with quality training specialised in IT’.
