eHosting DataFort, a subsidiary of TECOM Investments and a member of Dubai Holding, has signed an agreement with Interoute, owner of Europe’s most advanced next-generation voice and data network, to offer managed hosting and disaster recovery services in Europe. Synergies between the two organizations will enable eHosting DataFort and Interoute to jointly offer an integrated suite of managed hosting and disaster recovery services. The agreement allows eHosting DataFort to target European customers looking for disaster recovery services in UAE. It also enables eHosting DataFort to offer its customers cross-continent disaster recovery and business continuity services in Europe. This means eHosting DataFort customers with primary sites located in UAE can have secondary sites in the US and Europe. On the other hand, Interoute will supply managed hosting services in the United Arab Emirates and the surrounding region using facilities provided by eHosting DataFort. “The partnership signals eHosting DataFort’s strategic intent to expand westwards into the European and US markets,” said Dr. Saeed Al Barwani, CEO of eHosting DataFort. “The ability to provide hosting and disaster recovery services based in Europe through Interoute, fortifies our offerings for our customers.
