eHosting DataFort, the region’s leading managed IT and advisory services provider and a member of TEOM Investments, today announced its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yasser Zeineldin will lead a panel discussion on outsourcing at a global conference during GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2009, the largest industry event in the Middle East in Dubai. Titled ‘Outsourcing and its Benefits to SMBs’, the panel discussion is scheduled to be held on 20 October, the third day of the leading ICT event. Zeineldin said: “Outsourcing has been the watchword, especially during tough economic times. Small companies are particularly more vulnerable than larger corporations simply due to their lack of access to credit. The credit crunch has, in effect, created more opportunities for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) to work with IT service providers, enabling a team of specialized and skilled staff to manage all areas of their IT infrastructure around the clock by offering access to the latest technologies and best practices for service delivery and support. “More and more organizations are reassessing their business models in a way whereby they can easily access capital assets by moving towards a ‘Services model’ through converting capital expenditure into operational expenses, allowing companies to manage their IT Budgets on a ‘pay as you go’ model .” Moderated by Malcolm Taylor, Business Breakfast presenter on Arabian Radio Network (ARN), the debate will welcome senior executives from across the region. Other panelists will include Ali El-Zein, Executive Director for Operations, Injazat Data Systems; Aeyad Esam Sabagh, Senior Manager Business Development, Etisalat Business Solutions; Ahmed Shaaban, Country Manager, ITWorx, as well as Amin Khairen, Chairman of the Director’s Board of the Technology Development Fund. Held from 18-22 October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2009 will attract senior level executives and professionals from across the region’s ICT sector to meet and share ideas on ways they can develop business growth and pursue market opportunities. GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will open from 1pm – 7pm on Sunday 18 October 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. From Monday 19 October 2009 - Wednesday 21 October 2009, the GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will run from 10am – 7pm, while on Thursday 22 October 2009 the show will open at 10am and close at 5pm.
